About jaimiecole: I got my start when I was 18 yrs old living in San Francisco. That summer I went to San Antonio, TX to visit family. My cousin and I would go to the clubs both in San Antonio and Austin, TX. I got my inspiration in Austin. We went to club where I got to see the dj’s super up close doing their thing behind the tables. That’s when I decided to learn how to spin. A few of the dj’s I looked up to were Dj Sneak, Charles Feelgood and Carl Cox. My favorite was Dj Sneak. I loved how smooth he was and his choice of music. So I bought the cheapest set-up I could afford and a friend of mine ( though a hip-hop dj ) explained to me how mixing worked. I would practice and practice until one day I was invited to spin for a normal house party at a friends house. From there I would spin at more and more house party’s. Then I would spin at underground party’s, permitted party’s and club’s.
The cities: I spun in San Francisco, East Palo Alto, Minneapolis, Reno ( currently a resident ), San Antonio and Lake Tahoe area.
