About mattbrockelman: I started playing guitar back in 7th grade, and ever since then I've absolutely loved it. All of my songs are written from my own experiences (therefore all of my songs are original tunes). Every instrument you hear in my songs is played by yours truly. Yep, that's right. Guitars, bass, little bit of keyboards, etc. What can I say? On another note, I am not signed by a record company at the moment, but would love to be in the future. It's true that sometimes I just sit down in my chair, pull out the acoustic guitar, and play for hours. I don't really know how to describe the songwriting process (my way of doing it at least). I'm very in touch with my feelings, and that helps a lot when it comes to writing. That's pretty much all I can say regarding that subject.
I love each and every one of my fans and appreciate the time they've spent listening to my music. I enjoy very few things as much as getting a message that lets me know that you've connected to one or more of my songs. It makes me feel like my time was well-spent. My current album, "Anatomy of a Teenage Mind," came from hours upon hours spent in my music room reflecting, composing, and recording. The biggest thing for me right now is getting my name out there. It's hard when there are so many good bands and so few get the opportunity to shine. If you have the time, let your friends know about my site.
