About PhatBoy: JJ Da Kid was born in Chicago, IL. Currently residing in Plainfield, IL. Rapping since 9 years old, most of his raps were kept to himself and typically were made to make his family and friends laugh. Now at 21 years of age JJ's taking the rap game to another level. It's obvious that JJ has a sense of humor, but what makes his music distinct is the reality. He keeps his lyrics real. Just like any regular guy JJ loves football and spending time with the family. Working full-time, working-out, watching plenty of tv and playing video games its a miracle that he has time to record. He has a huge studio that consist of an Apple Mac computer (that isn't his, so JJ says, "thanks cuzzo") and a living room. So technically there's no huge studio. JJ Da Kid will continue making music for himself and for does who like it.
