HELP me make drums better

does anyone know how to get a good tune to go with a good drum beat iv made it nevr sounds good for me

To make good beats:

1) make sure your percussion window ends on a measure boundary (the strong dark line)

2) Draw a long stroke with the right color in a sketch window so you can hear it looping

3) Tweak the beats and instruments until you like it.
You can change the instruments by selecting a track (it turns reddish),
and then selecting a percussion instrument from:
Instruments->Percussion Kit

4) Although it's not totally necessary, it's good to make sure you have at least a few beats on the "down beat" - where you would clap your hands when it's looping. This give the rhythm a "sense of place".

Oh, oops.

OK, you can try using General or Classical harmony mode in the Sketch Window to get your notes to be more in tune with each other. Otherwise, if you are not careful, they could clash with each other or sound strange.
