About GOTHIK POET: I live in Hamilton, OH, and I have been writing poetry for a little over seven years. In the past three years I have indulged in Spoken Word thanks to a musician friend of mine. My poetry theme and style has changed greatly since I first began writing in 2002. I started out self-publishing my own poetry books and selling them locally. Now, with self-publishing being a thing of my past, I press on----creating spoken word in my newly changed (-to) style. Always fascinated with Gothic poetry, I eventually turned to it and have loved the change in my work----still yet, keeping themes of my faith lined in every stanza. In this new change, I stopped using my real name (Daniel Scenters), and instead use (my original) pseudonym: G.O.T.H.I.K. P.O.E.T.
I finished a demo project called "Nexus", which house the three poems: "Deliverer of Darkness"; "Concubine", and "Loyalty of the Grave". And am currently in the progress of working on my first spoken word CD entitled "The Gospel of Goth"----through my independent label GOTHIK Recordings.
